You might recall the afghan I shared in this particular post. I made this for my son for Christmas. He, of course, didn’t know I was making it and when he was in town on Black Friday he couldn’t get the item he was after…but he did come across a great sale on yarn. So he brought home six big skeins of camo yarn so I could make him an afghan. LOL Well, about two weeks ago I asked him if he still wanted me to make an afghan using that yarn since I had made him an afghan for Christmas. He said, yes, it would be nice. So I got busy, and this is what I made. A simple granny square camo afghan, with a dc, sc and shell edging. I love how this one turned out. Should have skipped the other one and just made one like this! LOL
A close-up for you. :)
Turned out great. Sometimes the simpler patterns are the nicest. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. :)
DeleteMy son would love that. I have often thought about making him one made out of camouflage. Good job.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) I loved how quickly it worked up. I am impatient when it comes to bigger afghans, but this one zipped right along. LOL
DeleteI love this and would like to make it but cant seem to down load the pattern. Can you help? Thank-you! Tami Rockwell tkrockwell@outlook.com
ReplyDeleteI love the afghan. Where can I get the pattern?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous...there is no pattern for this particular afghan. I just did a basic granny square and did a shell edging. :)
