This is my most recently completed project....the Diamond Landscapes doily from the Southmaid Masterpiece Doilies Book 1411. The sock yarn I used for this doily can be found here. I used the Cruise color. This yarn can be bought many places, but this is where I ordered it from. When I signed up for their newsletter, I got a free shipping code for my first order. I must say, I was pleased with their service including the speed of their service.
The yarn itself was OK to work with, I suppose, but I prefer #10 thread for my doilies. However, I wanted a pretty rainbow effect, which I have yet to get with any of the threads I have tried. So I decided to give this sock yarn a try. I bought another brand of sock yarn that I am anxious to try. It appears as it will be much softer.
