First of all I wanted to thank those of you who told me they hope I feel better soon. I appreciate it. The thing is, I am not sure I will. I have been having troubles for about 23 years, and things are progressively getting worse for me. It affects all aspects of my life, and honestly, I’m getting tired of it. :( I do have an appt. with a gastroenterologist on Tuesday, so hopefully she can help me in some way, shape or form.
Now then, so this post isn’t just a “woe is me” post. I thought I would share what I found at Good Will the other day. I sleep in a different room than my husband. Please don’t judge. LOL I found out several yrs. ago that I sleep better by myself. Makes for a happier everybody. Anyhoo, I took over our son’s bed (he moved out last December) about a month ago. It’s a twin size mattress so I went to GW hoping to find a vintage sheet or two. Was disappointed at first because I wasn’t finding anything. Then I went back through things and discovered that what I initially thought were curtains, were actually two pillowcases and a fitted twin size sheet! Color me happy! And they are so beautiful and colorful. Comfortable, too!! I love them! :D
I'm not judging Rita - I sleep on the futon in my craft room because my Vince snores something awful - plus he gets up at 2:30 in the middle of the night to get ready for work. I sleep much better in a different room.
ReplyDeleteI love your new sheet set. :)
Thanks, Debi. Rick gets up at 3:00 in the morning when he's on day shift (every other wk.) and that's another reason I started sleeping in a different room. Glad you understand. :)
DeleteSome problems just dont go and with medication it may subside but keeps on troubling lifetime. I hope you feel better after meeting the doctor. I am kind of frustrated with medicines so generally prefer homeopathy and Ayurvedic medicine and mst importantly I change my diet. It takes time but works for longer period. I am not sure what your actual sickness is, I am just telling my general approach to any kind of sickness except fever where I pop up regular tablets. Sorry if I said too much ...don't judge me either:)
ReplyDeleteYour bed sheet looks very colorful!! And it brought happiness to you. For everything else your grandchildren are there to make you smile:)
Thanks, Preeti, and I am certainly not judging you. :) I get very frustrated with doctors. In my experiences, if they can't figure out what the problem is they tend to think it's "in your head". And around here, if it's not an easy fix, the doctors aren't interested in working with a person to figure out what the problem is. Very frustrating, to say the least. I'm getting desperate though, so will give this another try.
DeleteMy husband and I share a king size bed and sometimes I run him out with my snoring! Great find at Goodwill!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Charlotte...I am loving my new sheets. :) Tell your husband I recommend sleeping in separate rooms! Just kidding! :D
DeleteThese sheets are so you!! :) Glad you found them and they make you so happy!!!
