Hello friends, and thank you for bearing with me while I’ve been quiet. I finally have permission from my daughter to tell you what I’ve been up to. :D Grandbaby number 3 is due in December, and I’ve been working on things for the baby! After having a miscarriage last December, they’ve been holding their breath, but so far everything seems to be progressing just fine. We pray it continues to do so. As with their other two children, we don’t know the gender until they’re born. So Gramma Rita makes sure to cover all bases, so to speak. I have made each baby their own special afghan, and that is one of the things I have been working on for the new grandbaby. I have also been experimenting with various diaper covers, all of which are purchased patterns.
I found this wonderful bag at Ross’s and just had to buy it to hold all of this gorgeous yarn I am “working” with. :D The yarn is being used in no particular order. There are 17 colors in all, so I make sure that I use all 17 before starting over with all the colors again. Seems to be working. :)
These diaper covers are not finished yet. I need to sew the buttons on, but I have plenty of time before that has to be done.
So..did I read that right?!!! You are going to be blesses with 3 grandchildren by the end of the year..How great is our God?!!!
