Recently, when I was puppy-sitting my daughter's family's new puppy, I managed to put edgings on a couple receiving blankets. I finished the third one after I got home. I don't use a pattern...just do my own thing. It is a nice project when you want to do "mindless" crocheting. I might add that they make very nice baby shower presents. :)
