Hello friends! Hope those of you who are in the deep freeze again, as we are here, are managing to keep warm and safe! I’m fortunate that I am a stay-at-home wife and don’t have to go out in the bitter cold very much. I am quite thankful for that!
After I made my Rita’s Reflections doily, I started another one from the June 2013 issue of Crochet World. Didn’t pay much attention to the name of it until I was finished. It is actually called “Reflections” Doily! What are the chances of that?! LOL Here is a picture of the one I made.
I also wanted to share with you some of my Good Will finds from this past weekend.
Normally, I am all about color. The more, the merrier! But I was really drawn to this beautiful plate with a black and white pattern. So pretty!
This bowl isn’t in the best of shape, but I thought it was too pretty to pass up.
Last, but not least, I found these two pretty fabric items.
Thanks for visiting!!
Love the doily Rita - beautiful work. Great finds at the Goodwill. I haven't been to the thrift store in quite a while - I should make plans to go when it's gets a little warmer outside. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debi. :) I don't get to the Good Will very often, but since Rick was driving that day, I asked him to stop there. :)
DeleteBeautiful doily. I love how the colours in the middle ring create a swirl, as if it's being spun. Nice finds at the Goodwill. Ours never has such lovely things.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Barb. :)
DeleteBeautiful doily, Rita!! The fabric with butterflies is a sweet one :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Preeti! :)
DeleteBrr! It's still in the teens here in SC today!! Love the doily but I especially love the black and white plate! I can't seem to find much when I visit Goodwill. Waiting on yardsale season to start!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Charlotte! :) Glad you like the black and white plate, too. I buy these things, but don't have anywhere to display them. I need to figure something out. Rick doesn't like shelves, but I could sure use some in the living room. I also thought about getting a curio cabinet, but not sure where I'd put it. Hmmm...
Deletelove that black and plate..it is so different..really a great find. I like the colors you used in your doily. I am like Charlotte I very rarely find anything at the goodwill store near me. Anyway stay warm and keep the hook moving..
ReplyDeleteHi Rita!
ReplyDeleteYour doilies are beautiful as always! I've made a few like the one in June Crochet world, I love that pattern! Love that black and white plate too. We love thrift shopping as well, so many good finds!
Keep crocheting and stay warm:)
