Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you had a wonderful Easter! Ours was very nice. We had our whole family here, and it was a nice time. Poor Lawson was up sick during the night on Saturday, but he was much better on Easter day. So far nobody else has gotten whatever he had…and, of course, we’re hoping and praying nobody does. Here is a picture of Rick and me, with the three grandkids, that I had my son take on Easter. I always have to ask somebody to take pics with me in it. Otherwise, there would be no pics of me. Not that I really like pics of me, but I do want my grandchildren to have pics of me when they are older, and perhaps I am gone.
We went outside in the evening, and the kids had fun with the bubbles. Truth be told, so did Gramma Rita!
My Jello poke cake I decked out for Easter.
Miss Adelyn being silly. She was saying “I’m a Gramma”. lol I asked her if she ever saw me walking around with a stick like that!! She cracks me up!
Some of them went out back to shoot target. These pics aren’t the best because I was zooming from afar. I like to shoot target, too, but wanted to spend the time with the kiddos.
And here are a few signs of spring. I took these pics late last week, so the daffodil shoots are up a bit more now.
Didn’t see many birds when I took a little walk, but I did see this chickadee and a couple other birds.
Find the birdy. :)
You can see this one easier.
On a crochet note, I recently made a doily, but it’s blocking right now so I don’t have a pic of it yet. Also made a couple squares for the Moogly CAL. I don’t seem to be really liking the squares she chooses, so for the most part have been picking my own alternatives. Hopefully one of these times, I’ll actually make what she chooses. lol
Thanks again for stopping by!
Your grandchildren are beautiful. Loved all your pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou are a beautiful grandma and your grandkids are adorable! I'm glad you had such a nice Easter. We did too. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you all enjoy the festival:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun Easter. Love your "little Gramma"! Kids say the darndest things!
ReplyDeleteYou enjoy the OK doily book when you get it. They can be intimidating, but don't let them. Just take it a few words at a time. If you look at it that way instead of the whole, long pattern, it's easier Just keep plugging along at it, and suddenly it'll be done. They are worth the extra patience and time. That's what I do. I had my books a long time before I worked up the courage to try. You can do it! Looking forward to seeing them. You have beautiful grandkiddies! That's a great picture of all of you.
ReplyDeleteThat was supposed to say PK, not OK. Duh.
