Since I took over my son’s room after he moved out, I have been slowly making it look like my own room. Here are a couple of the things I did recently. He had a bulletin board in there, that wasn’t looking too great. Here is a picture of the before.
And here it is after I covered it in some pretty fabric. I have since pinned some things onto it, but don’t have an up-to-date pic of it.
I made my own custom pushpins. I glued a flower bead to the head of the pin. Love them!
These wall hangings were made from some embroidered squares that I found in my mom’s things, after she passed away. It took me a while to decide what to do with them, and this is what I decided on. The wooden hoops and lace were also among her things.
Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
Love the bulletin board Rita - and the hoops with your Mom's embroidery are such lovely remembrances of her. You'll have to show us pictures of your room when you're finished decorating it. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have turned the embroidered squares very creatively into wall hangings !! They look beautiful :)
