Back from Vacation!

Rick and I went on a vacation last week…Tuesday-Friday.  I have been wanting to do a post since we got back, and am finally getting around to it.  I did post about the pattern help yesterday, and I appreciate all those who tried to help. Thought I’d share with you these pretties that I got at a flea market last week. They’re all small items, even though they look big in the pics. These all cost me a dollar each.

This little beauty is setting on my kitchen table, making itself useful by holding packets of sugar and Splenda. It matches my new kitchen décor perfectly!

This little doily is one I whipped up yesterday.  The first 5 rows are a charted pattern, and then I added the rest to make it a small doily.

And now for a few vacation photos.  We went up the coast of Ohio, and also went to Michigan to the Henry Ford Museum.  We were a bit disappointed with most of the lighthouses.  They aren’t kept up very well, IMHO, but this one I am showing was kept up very nicely.  It is Marblehead lighthouse. That is me standing there in front of it.

And here I am sitting in an old airplane seat at the Henry Ford Museum.

    1. Thanks! :) Usually when I take a notion to change the appearance of my blog, I end up with a big mess and have to figure it all out all over again. Very frustrating. LOL
