Not much crochet time around here the past week or so. My mil passed away a week ago, so I’ve been busy with all of that. Company just left today, and things are slowly getting back to normal. Since I have no new completed projects, I thought I’d share a few floral doilies that I made in year’s past. Hope to be able to share my lapghan #2 with you soon. Just maybe I’ll be able to work on it some during the evenings this week while dh is at work. Hope all is well with all of you. :)

As I’ve mentioned before, scrapbooking is one of my passions. There is a giveaway happening now over at Chelle’s Creations. I’m sharing this on my blog for a chance to win. If you, too, are a scrapbooker, you might want to check it out. I *love* the blues and yellows of this kit!

Not sure how many of these I will get done, but my mission is to make some lapghans using my yarn stash/leftover yarns. This one uses yarn I bought around a yr. ago just because I loved other green and blue afghans I had seen…and wanted to make one too. No pattern needed for this one. Just rows of dc, and then a sc border. Usually when I do stripes, I keep all the stripes the same width. This time I just made random stripes, and I really like how it turned out. Working on lapghan #2 right now, and hope to be able to post it in a week or two. Btw, in case you’re wondering why I am doing lapghans instead of full size afghans. There is a simple answer for that. LOL Truth is I get bored and impatient making larger afghans, but I find I enjoy the process of making the smaller lapghans.
As always, I thank you for checking out my little corner of blog land, and I appreciate your comments. I tend to respond to them in a reply to the comment left on the blog. :)
