Variegated Patchwork Afghan

I have been working on this afghan for a few weeks now, but am happy to be posting that it is finished!  I house-sat for my daughter’s family this weekend and was able to get it finished while there.  I took advantage of her lovely front porch to have a little photo session with my afghan. :)

    1. Thanks, Debi. Trying to use up some stash this year...and not buy any yarn. It works as long as I stay out of the stores! LOL

  4. Very nice blanket, Rita!! You have creatively used the variegated yarns. I have variegated threads but they don't show off the doily pattern nicely. I guess I must use it for blocks or flowers.
The porch looks very lovely :)

  7. Rita, how did you join your squares? I just finished an afghan joining as I went - I really like the seamless transition between squares, which is what yours looks like in the pic, but I don't think it's the same technique
