Slip Stitch Dishcloths

I have been faithfully working on my Sarafia squares, which I am doing for a CAL, but I can’t post them here for fear the “wrong” person will see them.  After Christmas I will post pics of that.  ;) During the past week I have been having lots of fun whipping up these slip stitch dishcloths.  They are so easy to make, and work up so quickly.  I can’t seem to stop making them!  :D  If you’d like to make some of your own, you can find the free pattern here!

Not only can these be used as dishcloths, but I think they would make great hot pads on which to set a hot pan or dish.

Close up of how they look.  Love how they look knitted, don’t you? Yet they’re quick and easy slip stitches!  :)

I also got the idea that this stitch would make some really nice coasters.  What do you think?  I think I see more coaster sets in my future.  :D

As always, thanks for visiting my blog.  I truly appreciate it and thoroughly enjoy any comments you leave.  Thanks!

  4. Rita, I love these and yes I did think they were knitting, I'm so, so happy they are crochet. I will be making these too! Thanks for the link. I've got two CAL's going ... really enjoying the Sarafia and especially knowing I'm doing along with you and the others. Have a wonderful day. Blessings.
