This little dress is *so* cute, and I have three people to thank for it! First of all, Debi Y. at Crochet, Crafts and Gardening mentioned this blog in one of her blog posts. From Insomniac with a Hook I ended up getting the directions for this adorable baby dress at Sarah’s Sweethearts. So I would like to give a big ol’ shout out…thank you!!…to all who helped me arrive at the pattern for this gorgeous little baby dress. Love, love, love it! And I got to thinking it would be fun to make in various sizes for various doll babies. So watch out, Adelyn, Gramma Rita might just get carried away one of these days! :D

Doll Blankie
I picked this out for one of Adelyn’s birthday presents.
Turns out she needed a doll blankie that will fit in the cradle part. I came home and made one right away, and took it to her today when I went down to babysit. :) It’s just a little blankie. Took one skein of Red Heart Stripes yarn, plus about 10 inches of another skein. LOL

Cockles and Mussels & Early Afternoon
Two more doilies that I made recently. I was disappointed in this first one because the hand-dyed thread I bought turned out to not be colorfast. :( I really need to learn to test my thread before making the doilies. This is another doily from Decorative Crochet #71, and is called Cockles and Mussels. The colors I used are White and Mallard (hand-dyed).
This next doily is called Early Afternoon and is from the House of White Birches Collectable Doily Series. I was skeptical of all the picots this one involved, but it turned out that I actually enjoyed making this doily. :) For this doily I used Pink and Rose.
Thanks for looking! :D

Some New Doilies to Share with You
My latest doily creations. Thanks for looking! :)
This one is called On Vacation. From Decorative Crochet #71. I used white, green and a hand-dyed variegated. To me it looks like Fall flowers. :)
This doily is called Spring Green, and is from Annie’s Attic Colorful Doilies. I used a sock yarn on this one and was disappointed that it was not colorfast.
This one is called Blue Skies. I used white for this one. Another cute little doily from Annie’s Attic Colorful Doilies.
This is a ruffled doily that was free at Freepatterns.com recently.

Granny Square Cookies
Aren’t these sugar cookies the cutest things ever?! They can be found over at Sugar and Meringue. Found them via Craft Gossip. They are just so pretty, and I wanted to make sure all of my crochet friends saw them too. :)
