Yarn Ball Winder

After reading this post over at Debi’s blog, I now have it in my head that I need (OK, want, but still…) a yarn ball winder.  I did an online search, and it turns out there are a lot of winders out there.

I love how Debi uses hers to make balls of her leftover yarns.  I think I would love doing that!

So I’m wondering…do you use a yarn ball winder, and if so which one is it and are you happy with it?  Thanks for all your input. :D

  1. No, Rita, I have never used one but like you have thought about it. Will be interested to see which one, etc., etc.

  2. Hi Rita - I use a U-nitt TH 7065 yarn winder I bought on Ebay. Here's one on a 'buy-it-now' auction:

I love using my winder - it winds large 9 - 10 oz cakes of yarn. :)

  3. Thanks so much for the info, Debi. I really appreciate it. I just might buy one of these. If it helps me get my stash looking like yours, it will be worth it. :D
